Key Spouse of the Year

Congratulations to Mrs. Chelsie E. Moncecchi, who was recently selected as the 2021 Air Force Key Spouse of the Year.  Ms. Moncecchi is a Key Spouse assigned to the 603rd Air Operations Center, Ramstein Air Base, Germany.  As a Key Spouse, her main focus is providing support for deployed members and their families. Chelsie is a mother to three amazing children and three animals. Congratulations to Mrs. Moncecchi and all the nominees.   

Key Spouse Resource Repository

The U.S. Air and Space Force Key Spouse Program (KSP) is an official Unit Family Readiness Program designed to enhance readiness and establish a sense of community. Key Spouses are volunteers appointed by the unit Commander that serve as a conduit of information providing resources to Air and Space Force families. This Commander’s program promotes partnerships with the unit, Key Spouses, Key Spouse Mentors, family members, the Airman & Family Readiness Center (A&FRC) and community agencies.

Best Practice Submission FormThis website provides information and resources to help unit leaders, Key Spouses and Key Spouse Mentors navigate the KSP. If you would like to share your installations Key Spouse resources or best practices with other installations, complete the attached form for approval by Air Force Personnel Center, Airman and Family Operations Branch.  Once approved the information will be loaded to this webpage.

Tuesday, September 14, Mrs. Mollie Raymond and Mrs. Sharene Brown hosted the second iteration of the Key Spouse  Engagement Series. This Series’ theme centered around Spouse Employment, Relocation Strategies, and Best Practices. Watch nationally-recognized experts and policy change agents discuss the latest efforts in support of military spouses’ welfare. Also showcased, are Key Spouses and Commanders with valuable leading practices to promote spouse engagement and unit resilience.
