Relocation Assistance
Relocation Assistance

ARE YOU RELOCATING?

Airman & Family Readiness Centers provide Relocation Assistance to service members and their families. The goal of the A&FRC Relocation Assistance Program is to ease the personal and family stressors military families experience associated with a Permanent Change of Station by providing assistance, counseling, sponsorship training, and education throughout all phases of the relocation process.

Relocation assistance is available to service members and their families authorized to make a PCS. A successful move is not a matter of chance, it is the result of planning and hard work. At the center of these efforts is you - the mover.

If you expect a good move, you must play an active role. There are steps you can take and resources available to help you plan and stay organized during your military move.

The relocation program has the most virtual resources of all services provided in the A&FRC. Most customers can access online tools to assist them with their PCS at any time. To contact your local A&FRC and receive assistance with: Relocation planning and preparation or other needed services. Click on the ‘Military Installations’ listed below to download an installation booklet of major unit listings, directories of programs, services availability and contacts information on your installation.

Visit Military OneSource, a website provided by the Department of Defense at no cost to active duty, Guard and Reserve (regardless of activation status) and their families.
