TAPS provides immediate and long-term emotional support and healing to anyone grieving the death of a loved one who served in the military, regardless of their relationship to the deceased or the circumstances of the death.

The members at TAPS provide military survivor seminars, good grief camps for young survivors, peer mentors and casualty case assistance to help solve problems. They also provide information and resources about grief and trauma.
