Air Force Personnel Center
Welcome to the Air Force Personnel Center! You are joining a professional team of 2,500 officer, enlisted, civilian and contract personnel dedicated to serving Airmen and Air Force families around the world. One team, one family, one mission!
AFPC ensures commanders around the world have the right number of skilled Air Force personnel to conduct the mission. The center defines requirements and executes programs covering the entire life cycle of military and civilian personnel for the Air Force, from accession through retirement, including community programs, growth, development and deployment. AFPC's diverse workforce, with 5 subordinate units, is responsible for worldwide operations for 1.77 million Airmen and family members. Automated programs and Web based applications enable Airmen to access to their personnel information anytime and from anywhere.
Every action we take touches the life or the family of our Airmen. Our job is to balance the needs of those Airmen while continuing to meet the mission of the Air Force. To do this, AFPC has the finest professionals serving in the Air Force, and you will be key in helping us develop and deliver Air Force personnel programs and policies.
Before you start this new and exciting job, we need to take care of the transition needs of you and your family. Your sponsor will provide you with any specific information you may need for your new job and can assist you with making other relocation arrangements. Civilian job opportunities may also be available for your spouse and a recent policy change has allowed us to open the door to spouses of military personnel impacted by relocating. For more information on civilian job opportunities, please visit the Air Force Civilian Service site at http://www.afciviliancareers.com.
We are here to help you and your family make the best of this transition. We look forward to having you on our team!
