CRISIS SUPPORT

MISSION:

Deliver support programs and services to promote short and long-term recovery, and the return to a stable environment and mission ready status following an all-hazard incident or evacuation.

OVERVIEW:

Crisis Support under the Military and Family Readiness umbrella encompasses community disaster education and support, Evacuation Operations & Repatriation, Emergency Family Assistance Center (EFAC), and the needs assessment portion of the Air Force Personnel Accountability & Assessment System (AFPAAS).

Military & Family Readiness Centers (M&FRCs) provide EFA response, virtual, telephonic, or the establishment of an emergency family assistance center (EFAC).

EMERGENCY FAMILY ASSISTANCE

The EFA response is the central point for the delivery of the services, which address the practical and emotional needs of families arising from an all-hazard incident.  It coordinates family assistance services from governmental and non-governmental entities, and delivery of continuous, authoritative, family assistance information.
