Crisis Support under the Military and Family Readiness umbrella encompasses community disaster education and support, Evacuation Operations & Repatriation, Emergency Family Assistance Center (EFAC), and the needs assessment portion of the Air Force Personnel Accountability & Assessment System (AFPAAS).
Military & Family Readiness Centers (M&FRCs) provide EFA response, virtual, telephonic, or the establishment of an emergency family assistance center (EFAC).

EMERGENCY FAMILY ASSISTANCE
The EFA response is the central point for the delivery of the services, which address the practical and emotional needs of families arising from an all-hazard incident. It coordinates family assistance services from governmental and non-governmental entities, and delivery of continuous, authoritative, family assistance information.

Emergency Assistance. When unexpected emergencies arise, there is a financial need and help is needed, AFAS provides no-interest loans and/or grants to help meet immediate needs and make a positive step towards a lasting financial solution.
