Air Force officials are accepting nominations for the Alison Award for Character and Innovation.

The award, sponsored by the Falcon Foundation in support of the U.S. Air Force Academy, recognizes one Air Force commissioned officer who has demonstrated outstanding character and innovation in a single act or a series of related events.

Nomination packages are due to the Air Force Personnel Center by May 31. Organizations and base-level personnel should contact their major commands, field operating agencies and direct reporting units for applicable suspense dates and any additional information regarding nomination procedures. Nominees must have served between five and 20 years at the time of nomination.

Complete application procedures and deadlines are available on myPers. Select “Any” from the dropdown menu and search “Alison.”
