Air Force Selection Board Secretariat releases 2018 selection board schedule

JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-RANDOLPH, Texas --  The Air Force Selection Board Secretariat has released the calendar year 2018 selection board schedule.

 

The schedule includes dates for master, senior master and chief master sergeant evaluation boards, senior noncommissioned officer supplemental boards, officer selection boards and the command screening board.

 

Board timing can be impacted by changes in year group sizes and the need to stay within statutory limits for eligibility and grade in each rank. This adjustment ensures all officers in the year groups being considered will have the legally required three years' time in grade when meeting their primary zone promotion board.

 

To see the schedule, go to the Air Force Personnel Center Promotions page of the AFPC public website and scroll down to the selection board records section. The schedule is also posted to myPers. Select “Any” from the dropdown menu and search “CY18 Board Schedule.”
