Air Force releases latest field grade officer promotions

The Air Force selected 521 active-duty officers for promotion to colonel and major during the P0624B and P0424A central selection boards (Chaplain, Judge Advocate General, Nurse Corps, Medical Service Corps and Biomedical Service Corps categories).

Colonel (P0624B):

  • Chaplain: 7 selected out of 30 considered.
  • Judge Advocate General: 22 selected out of 104 considered.
  • Nurse Corps: 27 selected out of 76 considered.
  • Medical Service Corps: 12 selected out of 36 considered.
  • Biomedical Service Corps: 16 selected out of 64 considered.

Major (P0424A):

  • Chaplain: 18 selected out of 26 considered.
  • Judge Advocate General: 66 selected out of 82 considered.
  • Nurse Corps: 163 selected out of 218 considered.
  • Medical Service Corps: 55 selected out of 64 considered.
  • Biomedical Service Corps: 135 selected out of 164 considered.
