Air Force releases latest field grade officer promotions

JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-RANDOLPH, Texas --  

The Air Force selected 329 active-duty majors for promotion to lieutenant colonel during recent CY24A (DC/MC) and CY24D (NC/MSC/BSC) central selection boards.

Lieutenant Colonel (M0524A) selection statistics:

  • Dental Corps: 23 selected out of 33 considered.
  • Medical Corps: 133 selected out of 155 considered.

Lieutenant Colonel (P0524D) selection statistics:

  • Nurse Corps: 70 selected out of 182 considered.
  • Medical Service Corps: 44 selected out of 63 considered.
  • Biomedical Sciences Corps: 59 selected out of 238 considered.
