Air Force releases latest field grade officer promotions

JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-RANDOLPH, Texas --  

The Air Force selected 1,152 active-duty majors for promotion to lieutenant colonel during recent P0524B central selection boards (LAF-A/C/F/I/N/X).

Lieutenant Colonel (P0524C) selection statistics:

  • LAF-Air Operations and Special Warfare: 502 selected out of 1071 considered.
  • LAF-Combat Support: 210 selected out of 385 considered.
  • LAF-Force Modernization: 141 selected out of 274 considered.
  • LAF-Information Warfare: 228 selected out of 449 considered.
  • LAF-Nuclear and Missile Operations: 31 selected out of 75 considered.
  • LAF-Cross Functional Operations: 40 selected out of 77 considered.
