DOD Disability Award nominees sought

JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-RANDOLPH, Texas --  The Air Force is seeking nominations for the 2013 Outstanding Department of Defense Employee with a Disability Award, Air Force Personnel Center officials announced today.

The award honors individual civilian employees and military members with disabilities who supported the DOD mission, overseas contingency operations, or whose activities best demonstrate the core values of their respective military service or agency.

Each major command, field operating agency and direct reporting unit may submit two nominations, which are due May 27. For application package criteria and nomination package instructions, go to the myPers website at https://mypers.af.mil and enter "DOD Disability Award" in the search window.
