Grateful Nation Award nominees sought

The Air Force is seeking nominations for the 2013 Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs Grateful Nation Award, Air Force Personnel Center officials announced today.

This award is presented annually to enlisted members from each service who have been recognized for superior conduct in overseas contingency operations. Enlisted nominees must be senior master sergeants or below, and eligible officers must be majors or below.

Each major command, field operating agency and direct reporting unit may submit one nomination, and nominations are due June 3. For application package criteria and nomination package instructions, go to the myPers website at https://mypers.af.mil and enter "Grateful Nation" in the search window.
