AF names airfield operations command candidates

Eight airfield operations officers were selected as squadron commander candidates by the developmental team selection board with convened at the Air Force Personnel Center in May, officials said.

Those candidates will be considered for various command vacancies during calendar year 2013, said Capt. Gregg Potter, AFPC Airfield Operations Officer Assignments Chief.

"The selection process was very competitive," Potter said. "Candidates' records were thoroughly reviewed and the board considered duty history in the areas of demonstrated leadership, leadership potential and professional development."

Airmen named as airfield operations command candidates include Maj. Kevin Bray, Lt. Col. Dwayne Gray, Maj. Bridgette Kennedy, Maj. Rudolph Kuehne, Lt. Col. Christopher Kuester, Maj. Anthony Salvatore, Lt. Col. Rick Spyker, and Maj. David Woodley.
