Air Force announces Flemming award winner

Major Timothy J. Bode has been selected as the final winner of the 59th Annual Arthur S. Flemming Award in the managerial achievement category.

Major Bode currently serves as Chief of Operations for the Space Based Infrared Systems Combined Task Force in Boulder, Colo.

The award, sponsored annually by George Washington University, honors outstanding men and women in the federal government each year who have performed outstanding and meritorious work to encourage high standards of performance; enhance appreciation of our government and the opportunities and responsibilities that it presents; and to attract and retain outstanding people to federal service.

Major Bode was chosen by a panel of distinguished nationally prominent judges and will be presented the award during a program in Washington, D.C.
