Air Force releases latest field grade officer promotions

JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-RANDOLPH, Texas --  

The Air Force selected 170 active-duty lieutenant colonels for promotion to colonel (JAG, NC, MSC, BSC, DC and MC) and 518 active-duty captains to major (BSC, DC and MC) during recent P0625B, M0625A, P0425B and M0425A central selection boards

Colonel (P0625B) selection statistics:

  • Judge Advocate General: 18 selected out of 94 considered.
  • Nurse Corps: 28 Selected out of 73 considered.
  • Medical Services Corps: 18 selected out of 37 considered
  • Biomedical Sciences Corps: 18 selected out of 54 considered

Colonel (M0625A)

  • Dental Corps: 18 selected out of 77 considered.
  • Medical Corps: 70 selected out of 207 considered.

Major (P0425B)

  • Biomedical Sciences Corps: 147 out of 181 considered.

Major (M0425A)

  • Dental Corps: 54 selected out of 59 considered.
  • Medical Corps: 317 out of 362 considered.
