AF selects 1,447 for promotion to colonel, lieutenant colonel, major

JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-RANDOLPH, Texas --  The Air Force selected 1,447 for promotion to colonel, lieutenant colonel and major during the 2016B Colonel Biomedical Sciences Corps; Lieutenant Colonel Line of the Air Force, Medical Service Corps and Biomedical Sciences Corps; and Major Biomedical Sciences Corps central selection boards.

The boards selected 15 lieutenant colonels for promotion to colonel, 1,279 majors for promotion to lieutenant colonel and 153 captains for promotion to major.

To view the lists, go to the Air Force Portal and select the promotion link, or log in to myPers, select "Any" from the drop down menu, enter "Active Duty:  Officer Promotions Home Page" in the search window and scroll down to the promotion select list section.
