AF selects 460 for promotion to captain

JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-RANDOLPH, Texas --  The 2014A Line of the Air Force, Chaplain Corps, Judge Advocate General Corps, Nurse Corps, Medical Services Corps and Biomedical Sciences Corps Quarterly Captain Selection Process selected 460 first lieutenants for promotion to captain.

To see the selection lists, go to myPers at https://mypers.af.mil, select the active duty officer component from the top drop down menu, select promotion under "Learn More About" and scroll down to the promotion select list section. Lists will also be available on the Air Force Portal at https://my.af.mil.

Selection statistics are as follows:

In the promotion zone:
LAF - 309 selected from 314 considered for a 98.4 percent select rate
CHAP - 1 selected from 1 considered for a 100 percent select rate
LAF-J - 58 selected from 58 considered for a 100 percent select rate
NC - 52 selected from 53 considered for a 98.1 percent select rate
MSC - 33 selected from 34 considered for a 97.1 percent select rate
BSC - 5 selected from 5 considered for a 100 percent select rate

Above the promotion zone:
LAF - 1 selected from 2 considered for a 50 percent select rate
CHAP - N/A
LAF-J - N/A
NC - 1 selected from 1 considered for a 100 percent select rate
MSC - N/A
BSC - N/A
