AF selects 190 for captain

JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-RANDOLPH, Texas --  Nearly 200 first lieutenants were selected for promotion to captain during the 2013B Chaplains, Line of the Air Force Judge Advocate General Corps, Nurse Corps, Medical Service Corps and Biomedical Sciences Corps Quarterly Captain Selection Process.

191 lieutenants were considered for promotion. The results are as follows:

Selection statistics in-the-promotion zone for captain:
CHAP - 1 selected from 1 considered for a 100 percent select rate
LAF-J - 24 selected from 24 considered for a 100 percent select rate
NC - 84 selected from 85 considered for a 98 percent select rate
MSC - 18 selected from 18 considered for a 100 percent select rate
BSC - 61 selected from 61 considered for a 100 percent select rate

Selection statistics above-the-promotion zone for captain:
NC - 2 selected from 2 considered for a 100 percent select rate
