AFA names 2012 outstanding civilian award winners Published Aug. 28, 2012 By Gloria Kwizera Air Force Personnel Center Public Affairs JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-RANDOLPH, Texas -- The Air Force Association has named the 2012 AFA Outstanding Civilian of the Year award winners, Air Force Personnel Center officials said today. Each year, the AFA recognizes four Air Force civilian employees for outstanding achievement in any career field, said Staff Sgt. Leland T. Moseley, AFPC Special Trophies and Awards section. The following are this year's award winner: Civilian Wage Employee of the Year: Anthony Hannula, Chief, Aerospace Ground Equipment Flight, 3rd Maintenance Squadron, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. Civilian Program Specialist of the Year: Jason Haddock, Assistant Chief of Health and Safety, 11th Civil Engineer Squadron, Joint Base Andrews, Md. Civilian Program Manager of the Year: Troy Andersen, Asset Optimization Chief, 633rd Civil Engineer Squadron, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Va. Civilian Senior Manager of the Year: Michael Payne, Chief, Integrated Warfare Analyses Division, Headquarters Air Force Studies and Analyses, Pentagon, Washington, D.C. The senior manager of the year award will be presented in September at the AFA 2012 Air and Space Conference and Technology Exposition in Washington, D.C.
