Air Force announces officer selection boards results Published April 21, 2011 Air Force Personnel, Services and Manpower Public Affairs RANDOLPH AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Air Force officials announced today their selection of 24 lieutenant colonels, 79 majors and 2,754 captains for promotion. The 2010D Colonel and Lieutenant Colonel (Nurses Corps) and Major (Line of the Air Force and Nurses Corps) central selection boards considered 203 lieutenant colonels, 434 majors and 3,495 captains for promotion.
