Four Air Force club members won a trip to attend the Super Bowl between the New Orleans Saints and the Indianapolis Colts Feb. 7 in Miami.

The club members were drawn from more than 13,000 entries received during the first 16 weeks of the Air Force Services Agency's Football Frenzy promotion. Winners received airfare, hotel accommodations, a rental car, and tickets to the game for themselves and one guest.

The winners were Senior Airman Mitch Waddell of Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D.; Maria Swantek of Tyndall AFB, Fla.; retired Master Sgt. Jonathan Hall of Pope AFB, N.C.; and Lisa Reynolds of Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan.

The winners and their guests traveled to Miami Feb. 4 where each was recognized at a welcome breakfast. "It's not a bad place to be entertained while you're waiting for the big game," Ms. Swantek said.

On game day, the winners and their guests traveled in a stretch limousine three hours before the Super Bowl to attend an exclusive tailgate party. At the party, they met the players, mingled with celebrities, and collected autographs.

The package also included vouchers for NFL apparel, a commemorative Super Bowl program, and all-you-can-eat meals.

"The slogan for this year's 44th Super Bowl is 'Own the Moment.' This Air Force club promotion allowed me to do just that," Ms. Reynolds said. "The Who rocked the halftime show with and sang songs that brought back memories of my past."

"This Football Frenzy win was unimaginable and over the top," Airman Waddell said. "I am so thankful I became a club member three years ago at the start of my Air Force career."

"I've been a club member for 47 years," Sergeant Hall said. "To attend my first live pro-ball game is like a lifetime dream come true. I've always wanted to go to a Super Bowl game."

The winners and their guests were honored at a farewell dinner Feb. 8. The winners returned Feb. 9, but the excitement of this ultimate prize package will be a part of their lives forever, said Fred McKenney, chief of the agency's food and beverage division.

This was the third drawing of winners in the promotion for the ultimate prize package.

The second drawing of winners in the promotion was selected in November and attended the NFL game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the New York Jets Dec.13 in Tampa, Fla.

The first drawing of winners in the promotion was selected in October and attended the NFL game between the Carolina Panthers and Arizona Cardinals Nov. 1 in Glendale. Ariz.

A final drawing will be held Feb. 19 to select 10 club members to receive a $500 gift card.

"Clubs play a vital role across the Air Force by building a sense of community, and our winners can certainly attest to the fact that it pays to be a club member," said Mike Bensen, the Air Force Services Agency deputy to the commander. "Promotions such as this reaffirm the Air Force's long-standing tradition of taking care of our people, particularly in the Year of the Air Force Family."
