AF taps 8 for 13N, safety leadership opportunities Published Oct. 7, 2013 By Debbie Gildea Air Force Personnel Center Public Affairs JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-RANDOLPH, Texas -- Eight officers have been selected to fill Nuclear and Missile Operations core command and chief of safety positions by the 13N development board that convened in June, Air Force Personnel Center officials said. New 13N squadron commanders include Lieutenant Colonels John R. Cox, Frank P. Landry, Justin A. Mulkey, Jeremy E. Olson and Rasheem J. Wright, and Majors (selected for promotion to lieutenant colonel) Terrance J. Holmes and Ryan S. Nye. In addition, Lt. Col.-select Kristen A. Nemish has been selected for a chief of safety position. Four officers were nominated as candidates for Air Education and Training Command recruiting and training squadron command opportunities, including Lieutenant Colonels Jonathan F. Austin, Kyle M. Cone, Thomas A. Koory and Tytonia S. Moore. "We have some stellar officers in the Air Force and this career field, so it was hard to narrow down the candidates to just a handful of selectees," said Capt. Janet Dewese, AFPC nuclear and missile operations assignment officer. "Every candidate would make a great commander, though, and they will all remain eligible for command, in the event a position opens over the next year."
