The Aerospace awards recognize the most outstanding contributions to national defense and are open to all Air Force military members, Department of the Air Force civilians, units or group of individuals. The specific category and respective nominees are: Theodore Von Karman Award - for contributions in the field of science and engineering relating to aerospace activity. - AF Tactical Exploitation of National Capabilities, Air Combat Command - Transport Isolation System Team, Air Mobility Command - Capt. Michael Peeples, Air Force Space Command David C.
