  • Civil Air Patrol completes full year of COVID-19 support

    Civil Air Patrol, the U.S. Air Force auxiliary, logged 365 continuous days in support of America’s humanitarian response to the novel coronavirus pandemic March 24.
  • Airmen deploy to support Community Vaccination Center in Brooklyn

    A team of approximately 140 active-duty Airmen from 28 bases arrived at Medgar Evers College in Brooklyn to support a state-led, federally supported community vaccination center.
  • 64th AEG provides vaccination support to FEMA in Michigan

    At the request of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, approximately 220 Department of Defense military medical and support personnel will deploy to Michigan to support a state-run, federally supported community vaccination center.

  • PT test pushed to July, updates to scoring, physical components ahead

    When assessments resume, the three-component fitness test (1.5 mile run, 1 minute of pushups and situps) will be reset with scores calculated on a new three component scoring table. In addition, work is underway to separate scoring into five-year age groups as opposed to the previous ten – for example, age groups will start at <25, 25-29 years old, 30-34, years old, etc.
