Department of the Air Force releases 21S6-21S8 promotion cycle statistics

Department of the Air Force officials have selected 26 sergeants, 22 technical sergeants and 4 master sergeants for promotion in the United States Space Force 21S6, 21S7 and 21S8 promotion cycles.

The statistics for each cycle are as follows:

  • 21S6: 102 Eligible, 25.49% selected
  • 21S7: 98 Eligible, 22.45% selected. The average overall score for those selected was 386.05. Selectees’ average time in grade was 4 years and time in service was 14.4 years.
  • 21S8: 64 Eligible, 6.25% selected. The average overall score for those selected was 414.50. Selectees’ average time in grade was 4.5 years and time in service was 18.9 years.
