Space Force releases master sergeant, technical sergeant and sergeant promotion cycle statistics

Department of the Air Force officials have selected 90 technical sergeants for promotion to master sergeant, 274 sergeants for promotion to technical sergeant and 459 Space Force specialist 4s for promotion to sergeant in the 25S7, 25S6 and 25S5 promotion cycles.

The statistics for each cycle are as follows:

  • Master Sergeant: 494 eligible, 18.22% selected. The average overall score for those selected was 373.42. Selectees’ average time in grade was 4.02 years and time in service was 12.48 years.
  • Technical Sergeant: 402 eligible, 68.16% selected. The average overall score for those selected was 352.43. Selectees’ average time in grade was 3.39 years and time in service was 8.00 years.
  • Sergeant: 478 eligible, 96.03% selected. The average overall score for those selected was 450.00. Selectees’ average time in grade was 0.95 years and time in service was 3.38 years.
