Space Force releases chief master sergeant and senior master sergeant promotion cycle statistics

JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-RANDOLPH, Texas --  

Space Force officials have selected 12 senior master sergeants and 37 master sergeants for promotion in the 25E9 and 26E8 promotion cycles, respectively.

The statistics for each cycle:

  • 25E9: Out of 65 eligible Guardians, 18.46% were selected. The average overall score for those selected was 381.19. Selectees averaged 3.51 years in their current grade and 19.94 years of service.
  • 26E8: Out of 405 eligible Guardians, 9.14% were selected. The average overall score for those selected was 387.19. Selectees averaged 4.18 years in their current grade and 16.37 years of service.
