JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-Randolph, Texas -- Space Force officials have selected: 405 Specialist 4s for promotion to Sergeant, 242 Sergeants for promotion to Technical Sergeant, and 196 Technical Sergeants for promotion to Master Sergeant during the USSF 2026 Mega Board.
The scores, Time In Grade (TIG) and Time In Service (TIS) averages by cycle are as follows:
Sergeant: Out of 424 eligible Guardians, 95.52% were selected. The average overall score for those selected was 450.00. Selectees’ average TIG was 1.07 years and TIS was 3.52 years.
Technical Sergeant: Out of 324 eligible Guardians, 74.69% were selected. The average overall score for those selected was 366.77. Selectees’ average TIG was 3.63 years and TIS was 8.22 years.
Master Sergeant: Out of 530 eligible Guardians, 36.98% were selected. The average overall score for those selected was 375.07. Selectees’ average TIG was 4.50 years and TIS was 12.99 years.
