Eight weather officers have been named for command by the weather officer development board that convened here in July, Air Force Personnel Center officials said.

New weather commanders include Lieutenant Colonels Danielle M. Budzko, Geoffrey D. Dawson and Jason M. King, and Majors (all selected for promotion to lieutenant colonel) Jeremy B. Alexander, Jason S. Blackerby, Stephen C. Davis, Kenneth A. Ferland and Paul W. Lucyk

Selection was challenging for DT board because the candidates were all outstanding, said Maj. Jimmy Odom, AFPC weather officer assignments.

"There were fewer command opportunities than qualified candidates, but candidates who were not selected will remain eligible in the event of an unanticipated opportunity," he said.
