Air University cancels SOS class 17G

Lt. Gen. Steven L. Kwast, commander and president Air University, has announced with immediate effect that Squadron Officers School (SOS) class 17G is cancelled due to a course re-write and imminent decision on curriculum changes.  AU officials ask for patience over the next few days while Air Force leaders make a final decision on the curriculum changes and announce steps to reschedule and reprioritize SOS attendance of those Airmen impacted by this decision. 
  

Airmen impacted by the SOS class cancellation should not contact Air Force Personnel Center or Air Reserve Personnel Center, but should work through their chain of command and training manager to reschedule their attendance as soon as possible.  AU leadership is committed to ensure those impacted by the cancellation are allowed to attend SOS in-residence, beginning as soon as the next course (class 18A) starting July 31, 2017.
