Air Force selects 1,184 in senior master sergeant promotion cycle; list posts March 3

JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-RANDOLPH, TexasAir Force officials have selected 1,184 master sergeants for promotion to senior master sergeant out of 15,544 eligible for a selection rate of 7.62 percent in the 20E8 promotion cycle.

 

While this selection rate is lower than in previous years, the 20E8 promotion allocations meet global requirements for Air Force senior master sergeants.

 

The senior master sergeant promotion list will be available on the Air Force’s Personnel Center website Enlisted Promotions page, the Air Force Portal and myPers March 3 at 8 a.m. CST. Airmen will also be able to access their score notices on the virtual Military Personnel Flight via the AFPC secure applications page.

 

Those selected for senior master sergeant will be promoted beginning April 1.
