AF selects 26 Airmen for PA training, schedules second board Published Sept. 18, 2007 By 030407 RANDOLPH AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- An Air Force board selected 26 enlisted Airmen to attend the Tri-Service Physician Assistant Training Program at Fort Sam Houston, Texas, and scheduled a second board to select 11 more Airmen. The board met here in March 2006, selecting 26 people from 50 applicants. No alternates were selected due to a shortfall in the number of qualified applicants. The second board is scheduled for Sept. 19. Packages are due no later than Aug. 25 to: AFPC 550 C Street West Randolph AFB, TX 78150-4729 Airmen not selected by the March board who requested waivers for pending coursework or below standard Scholastic Aptitude Test scores may reapply for consideration if the waiver is resolved. The average selectee was 29 years, 7 months old with eight years time in service and had a 3.35 grade point average. Selectees will attend one of three classes - the first beginning in January.
