Chief Master Sergeant Keith M. Scott is first and foremost an Airman. He currently serves as the Command Chief Master Sergeant, Headquarters, Air Force Personnel Center, Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas. The center executes programs covering the entire life cycle of military and civilian personnel for the Air Force and Space Force; including readiness, deployment, development, and growth.
As the Senior Enlisted Leader, Chief Scott serves as the primary advisor to the center's commander on the effective use of 2,300 military, civilian, and contractor personnel dedicated to caring for nearly 2.5 million Airmen, Guardians, retirees, and family members. In addition, the center manages and tracks the execution of delivering air, space, and cyberspace power to combatant commanders by ensuring units have the right number of skilled personnel in the proper grades and specialties to complete their missions.
Chief Scott is from Atlantic Beach, Florida, and entered the Air Force in 1997. His assignments include bases in Japan, Portugal, Oklahoma, Hawaii, Colorado, Virginia, Texas, and California. Chief Scott has also deployed in support of Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. He has filled multiple roles throughout his career to include command chief and senior enlisted leader for various medical groups and squadrons as well as the superintendent of an Airman and Family Readiness Center.
Chief Scott also spent two years as an international military student officer at JB Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. Prior to assuming his current role, he served as the Command Chief Master Sergeant, Nineteenth Air Force, JBSA-Randolph, Texas.
