Welcome to the Active Duty Enlisted Promotions Program home page. Additional information about the Below the Zone (BTZ) Program, Weighted Airman Promotion System (WAPS), eligibility criteria, general promotion testing and links to other resources related to enlisted promotions may be found on myPers (af.mil)
**Sequence numbers for the next increment are published as soon as possible after receiving quotas from Headquarters Air Force. If not posted, they are not yet available.**
There are two supplemental promotion processes; in-system supplemental and senior non-commissioned officer supplemental board. The in-system supplemental is processed monthly in the Weighted Airman Promotion System. Eligible staff sergeants (E-5) through senior master sergeants (E-8) whose weighable data changes in their promotion file compete monthly for promotion consideration.
In-system supplemental consideration also applies to Airmen who test after initial selects have been made, deployed Airmen, or anyone who was unable to test during their normal testing window. The SNCO supplemental board is for those members promotion-eligible to E-7, E-8 and E-9. This board is held twice a year. SNCOs may request to meet the supplemental board if they believe they have a valid request according to Air Force Instruction 36-2502, Enlisted Airman Promotion/Demotion Programs, Table 2.5. With the exception of consideration for a missing Static Close Out Date evaluation, there are no automatic approvals for supplemental board consideration when an Airman's record did not meet a previous board for which they were eligible.
In-system supplemental releases are not conducted during July and August due to the system requirements needed to support the technical and staff sergeant promotion releases. Airmen who are eligible for these months will be considered in the September cycle. The in-system supplemental promotion schedule is available on myPers under “Enlisted” by clicking “Promotion.”
Your DVR is the most important tool to ensure the information on your promotion record is complete and accurate. It is your responsibility to verify all data on your DVR to ensure it is accurate (i.e., compare decorations and performance reports listed on the DVR against source documents filed in PRDA, confirm your duty information, or validate your professional military education.) The information in the enlisted DVR includes weighted and non-weighted factors used in the promotion process. The DVR is the only document used for promotion consideration, so all data on it is important.
For complete and detailed information on the information to review on your DVR, visit the Enlisted Promotions page on myPers and click the link for Data Verification Record Review Instructions under the Promotion Cycle Info tab.
Additionally, a review of PRDA should be conducted to ensure data is correct and all appropriate documentation is filed accordingly. If there is an error on the DVR, you should contact your servicing Military Personnel Flight for assistance. The MPF will update MilPDS with the correct information. Each update automatically generates a new DVR in the virtual Military Personnel Flight. Retrieval of the updated DVR is your verification that the changes have been completed.
To view your DVR, access vMPF via AFPC Secure>Self-Service Actions>Promotions>Enlisted Promotion Information>Enlisted Data Verification Record. To view PRDA, access AFPC Secure>PRDA>Selection Folder. The selection folder is your “As-Is” record. Open the Selection Folder and review the performance reports and decorations. Alert your MPF of any missing documentation and provide copies if you have them.
