Air Force officials selected 487 of 2,201 eligible senior master sergeants for promotion to chief master sergeant for a selection rate of 22.13 percent.

The average score for those selected was 659.88, with an average time in grade of 3.09 years and time in service of 22.85 years respectively. The chief master sergeant promotion list was released publicly Nov. 3 at 8 a.m. Central Daylight Time on the Air Force Personnel Center's public website and on the Air Force Personnel Services at https://gum-crm.csd.disa.mil. Airmen will also be able to access their score notices on the virtual MPF and the AF Portal.

Those selected for chief master sergeant will be promoted according to their promotion sequence number beginning in January. As a reminder, the selections are tentative until the data verification process is complete, which is no later than 10 days after the promotion release date. The AFPC Enlisted Promotions Office will notify Airman, via military personnel sections, if their selection is in question.
