DoD Approves Pet Expenses Reimbursement Due to PCS

Summer is here and it’s the busy time for some U.S. Army personnel and families as they move to their next assignment, retire or separate from the service. Despite overall health improvements in the U.S. regarding COVID-19, the pandemic is still problematic in other parts of the world and continues to affect the shipping industry.

Defense Department leaders are inviting Hill AFB housing residents to participate in the department's annual housing satisfaction survey, which is scheduled to launch by Dec. 18.

Members moving after Sept. 30 should work with their commands and Personnel & Admin shop to arrange the move.

The goal of the Relocation Assistance Program (RAP) is to ease the personal and family stressors military families experience associated with a Permanent Change of Station (PCS) by providing assistance, counseling, sponsorship training, and education throughout all phases of the relocation process.
