Wounded warrior adopts four-legged partner, friend

Staff Sgt. Brian Williams, 87th Security Forces Squadron military working dog handler, embraces Carly, his former military working dog, Aug. 28, 2013, on Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J. Williams, who hails from Sierra Vista, Ariz., recently received approval to adopt Carly. Both Williams and Carly deployed in 2011 to Kandahar, Afghanistan where Williams sustained injuries from an improvised explosive device.
